Autumn is such an intentional time of year. The harvests are coming in, the leaves are turning, birds are migrating and bears are bulking up. FOLSR is also stepping into the season with purpose.
Aside from the upcoming events listed in this newsletter, we're asking Duluth Whole Food Co-op owners to vote for FOLSR as a recipient of the annual GIVE! Community Support Program. This means during a portion of the year, when Co-op patrons round-up their payment at the register, FOLSR would receive that money.
The funds we collect through donations, memberships and grants support our AmeriCorps member, supplies for events and volunteer activities, and the necessary operating costs that make a non-profit run. These operating costs include insurance, software, hardware and business management tools.
